TO cry over splilt milk or blame officals is the easy way out ...

Anyone who was there saw the best and worst of hamians rugby

Unforced errors and lack of nous against a wind saw us 21 points down

Brilliance of individuals coupled with unselfish play saw us claw 14 points back

plan A to use our backs and drag them wide must have been a success as one winger touched it twice and the other three times during the game ! Plan B was their a plan B

Forwards win matches and the backs decide by how much , I hope that great white narrator in the sky casts judgement on those who caused this simple rule to quoshed ....the forwards did the job ( well they train and practice passing to each other )

When them awards are dished out if anything goes to them pretty boys well they should be ashamed to stand up and collect it

Second half ref finds his pockets and suprising after finding he has balls pulls out yellow cards and punishes persistent offences in the forwards.

Lamin crosses to put is two points up

Everyone blowing hard

Chicago makes break as sub , hamians squander easy chances to put collegues over to seal game .

Hamians failure to close game down costs them dear .

Amber Valley start move of forward drives , mauls rucks to progress lenght of park to score . How they were allowed to progress , by hamians and referee was bizarre and probably the pressure and tiredness effected judgement over that extended period of play .

To loose in that manner was unfortunate after the sucesses of the season that had preceeded it .

Praise must be given to Mikey and his training squad for boosting the performance to finish third in the league and reaching successive cup finals.
