Hamians 27 - Boston 13

NLD Semi Finals are always passionate affairs and sometimes tempers flare and things are said in the heat of the moment that are best forgotten .

On the day the side that wanted it most and played the better rugby prevailed by 4 tries to 2 .

Hamians whole side played with great discpline and were not provoked and the support play and collective effort won the day .

If both your wingers collect a brace of tries each it speaks volumes for the style in which hamians took the victory . I am not going to raise plaudits to individuals or mock the numerous unforced errors which disrupted the Boston backplay .

The referees assessor statement that ''the game was much better than level 9 , and some of the skills demonstrated and passages of interplay during the hamians 4 try demolition period were simply awesome''

From my vantage point I was not party to some of the unsavoury touchline incidents but I have had assurances from the respected hamian secretary that apologies have been made and all matters are closed .

For those who are interested the finals day is the 21st april at Mellish and our game will kick off at 12.30 am

League action resumes against East Leake at home next week another local derby , training is tuesday and all not avaliable please inform selection .
